Important Driver Installation:
If you get an error while Installing the Drivers press OK, then Exit. Then do the following:
Right-click on your CD Drive and select Explore
For Windows, double-Click on the application file in this folder (the file name atarts with "IS_AP_STA_RT2870......) then follow the installation instructions.
For Mac and Linux open their folder and then run the application.
Or you can got to the manufactures website, then click on "Support" and on the left side click on "Divers" and download.

Works great with Macs and PCs. Not as sensative as i'd like, spend some more money, and get a good antenna too.

The adapter was easy to install and worked straight out of the box. It appeared to nearly double the signal strength of already available networks and showed some which were previously unavailable.
The major downside was the extra large 9db aerial which actually seems to work against you and reduces the signal strength as against the normal 5db aerial. The large aerial also makes the adapter unstable and unable to stand on the desk without being supported. There was no point in purchasing the larger aerial.

I can sum this product with one word, "GARBAGE". Don't be folled that it says "strongest on the market", I received no stronger signal then what I did with my own laptop this also includes using both antennas. No improvement whatsoever. In addition, the antenna took control over my laptop antenna, so bad that my company's system admin needed to reload the software on the computer. I personally think it is bad when you cannot get someone with years of experience to fix the take of over an antenna. Maybe I was expecting too much but back to the drawing baord in hopes to find hi-gain antenna again.
